Where to Park

All the information on transportation and parking is in the JASP 2017 Guide. All event locations are marked in blue, and parking-related locations in red on the JASP map linked here:  the Parking and Event Location Map for JASP 2017.

HAMPTON INN Carrboro-Chapel Hill:

One of the beautiful things about the Hampton Inn is that they have plentiful, free parking for all participants, regardless of whether you are staying the night at the hotel.  We recommend parking on the 4th floor.  We will have parking permits ready for all participants when you check in.

WILSON LIBRARY & ACKLAND MUSEUM (Main UNC campus):

There is no easy, guaranteed parking at Wilson Library.  Parking at the Ackland Museum is a little simpler.  We plan to carpool and shuttle people back and forth from the Hampton Inn to see these exhibits.  See the details on transportation and parking in the JASP 2017 Guide and the Parking and Event Location Map for JASP 2017.

GERRARD HALL (Main UNC campus):

We are again using the beautiful Gerrard Hall for our ball.  The closest parking to Gerrard Hall would be metered street parking.  We plan to carpool people from the Hampton Inn and back again.  See the details on transportation and parking in the JASP 2017 Guide and the Parking and Event Location Map for JASP 2017.

I printed the pass but it says it expires on Friday June 19. Now what?

Ruth, parking passes are not required on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday), so the pass is really only for Thursday and Friday!
